There are three PDF files available. The first is a general description of the Scorer and Timer duties. This is a must for anyone considering working at a PAWF event. Timer information and duties are explained. Basic information for Scorers is also presented. Scorers must also review the 'Guide to filling out the Bout Sheet'. The 'Bout Sheet Detail' expands on the guide by presenting sample bout sheets filled out for all the various situations you may see as a Scorer. If you are assigned to an event, you are encouraged to print out the three files and use them for reference at the event.
Guide to filling out the Bout Sheet.
Note: Wrestlers are encouraged to read and understand the bout sheet training information as well. After each bout the winner must sign the bout sheet. It is the wrestler's responsibility to review the form before signing it. At the very least you are expected to know if the form shows that you WON the match. This is one of the most frequent errrors we see at our qualifiers. If your name and score have an 'X' across them, then you have lost. If that occurs do not sign the form. Bring it to the attention of the Scorer or Referee. Get it fixed before you leave the mat!
