Upcoming girls only tournaments and camps are listed below. Girls/women compete in both freestyle and folkstyle and there are several local, regional and national tournaments for girls only. For full schedule please see PAWF Calendar. If you would like to add an event please contact Jennifer Chu

    Style: Folkstyle - Headgear Mandatory Hairnet optional 
    Format: 1st-5th grade divisions 1.5 minute periods; Middle and High School divisions 2 minute periods

    4th-5th Grade: 60, 65, 70, 76, 82, 90, 100, 112, 112+
    Middle School (6th-8th Grade): 81, 89, 97, 105, 113,120, 128, 137, 145, 159, 159+
    High School (9th-12th Grade): 97, 105, 112, 118, 124, 130, 139, 148, 159, 172, 172+
    ***Tournament Director reserves the right to combine classes as needed***
    Registration/Weigh-in: 8-8:30 am Sunday March 8, 2015
    Clinic featuring USA Wrestling National Team Member: 8:30-9:30 am
    Wrestling: 9:30 am - conclusion 
     
     
    Pre-registration closes on Saturday March 7 at 11:00 am. Please note wrestlers CAN change weights from where they pre-register on the day of the tournament. 
     
    Pre-registration cost $25, Walk in Registration $30
     
    Spectator Fee: $6 adults, $3 children 
     
    Eligibility: Tournament is open to Pennsylvania wrestlers only. All participants must have a current 2015 USA Wrestling Card. Cards must be purchased online at www.usawmembership.com prior to tournament. USA Cards will not be sold on-site. The $15 Limited Folkstyle Membership can be used for this tournament.

    USAW Girls Folkstyle National Championships & University National Championships

     

    **USA Wrestling does not charge for adjusting weight classes, even at weigh-ins, so sign up early to guarantee your spot in the event. 

    USA Wrestling invites girls born from September 1st, 1995 through 2008 to the Freede Center in Oklahoma City for the 2015 Girls Folkstyle National Championships. This event showcases the quickly growing sport of girls folkstyle on a national stage. Last year wrestlers from 40 states participated in the Girls Folkstyle Nationals, and we expect the tournament to continue to expand.

    Make your spring break plans for Oklahoma and earn the right to call yourself a national champion!

    Also happening during the event, there will be a college recruiting fair for girls hoping to wrestle at the collegiate level. For information on the college recruiting fair, contact event director Archie Randall at arandall@okcu.edu.

    The Women's College Wrestling Association (WCWA) will be holding a recruiting fair on Saturday during the event.

  • he 2015 Body Bar Women's National Championships features freestyle competition for five (5) separate age groups:

    Girls Division I - Born 2006-2008

    Girls Division II - Born 2003-2005

    Schoolgirls - Born 2001-2002

    UWW Cadet - Born 1998-2000

    UWW Junior - Born 1995-1997, or 1998 with medical approval

    Registration

     

    All athletes who meet age group requirements, any existing state qualifying procedures and are current members of USA Wrestling are eligible to participate.

    Athletes MUST present proof of current USA Wrestling Membership Card (actual card or photo copy) at registration AND weigh-ins. If you do not have a copy of your USA Wrestling Membership Card, please contact your State Membership Director prior to the event. It is mandatory that you provide your USA Wrestling Membership Card Number when participating at all USA Wrestling events in order for your results to be correctly linked to the Kids National Team website (click HERE for more information). USA Wrestling Athlete Membership Cards can be acquired from the State Chairperson or State Membership Director of the contestant`s state of residence or online (click HERE). Secondary sports accident insurance is provided as a benefit of membership. This includes all Canadian athletes participating in the UWW Cadet and Kids Divisions. The UWW Junior Division is open only to U.S. citizens eligible to represent the United States at the World Championships. Athletes MUST be a U.S. citizen prior to the start of this event.

     

    USA WRESTLING COACH MEMBERSHIP:

    All coaches that wish to gain access to the competition floor to coach athletes must have a current USA Wrestling Coaches Card. All USA Wrestling Coaches Membership Cards MUST be attained prior to the event, due to mandatory background checking. For a Coaches Membership Card, please click HEREPLEASE ALLOW UP TO 30 DAYS FOR COMPLETION OF USAW COACHES MEMBERSHIP/BACKGROUND CHECK PROCESS. This rule also applies to all Canadian coaches.
